FAQ

Warranty

We stand behind every piece we create. Your O’Milo jewelry is covered by standard legal warranties for defects.

Crafted from sterling silver and gold, it’s delicate by nature. Treat it gently, as you would something rare. Avoid bending or adding pressure when you take it out of the box or put it on.

When your piece arrives, take a moment to inspect it. Should you notice any flaws or damage from transport, let us and the carrier know right away—it helps us make things right even faster. That said, skipping this step won’t affect your warranty rights.

We’re here to make sure your O’Milo experience is as flawless as your jewelry.

Our Materials

Every piece of O’Milo jewelry is handmade with a base of ethical sterling silver, valued for its strength and lasting beauty.

For our gold designs, we plate this sterling silver core with 18K or 14K gold, giving each piece a warm, luminous finish built to endure.

For our silver designs, we use rhodium or white gold (platinum) plating to enhance shine and durability. Rhodium provides a bright, reflective surface that resists tarnish and scratches, while white gold adds strength and a sleek, polished look.

Nickel-free and hypoallergenic, each piece is designed to feel as effortless as it looks.

Waterproof & Fade-Resistant

Jewelry that fits into your life—O’Milo designs are made for every moment. Waterproof, sweat-proof, and ocean-proof, our pieces are crafted to shine through daily wear while staying nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

While built to endure, we recommend treating your jewelry with care to preserve its brilliance. Think of it as a precious keepsake—beautiful, yet deserving of gentle handling.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

To minimize our environmental impact, we may package multiple items together in a single box. Unless you request separate packaging for each of your jewelry pieces or let us know the items are gifts, we choose this thoughtful, eco-conscious approach.

Each order is carefully packed in secure and elegant packaging—designed to protect your jewelry while offering a beautiful, gift-ready presentation.

Free Shipping & Easy Returns

From Berlin to the world—our handcrafted jewelry ships free, no matter where you are.

Each piece is made to order and usually dispatched within 1–3 business days, carefully packed and insured for its journey. You’ll receive a tracking number to follow its path to you.

Not in love? Returns are easy. Send it back within 14 days in its original condition, no questions asked.

Jewelry Care & Handling

O’Milo jewelry is made with care and deserves the same from you. Crafted from sterling silver and gold, it is delicate by nature. Handle it gently and avoid bending or applying pressure when putting it on or taking it off.

While waterproof, avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, or harsh chemicals to keep its shine. When not in use, store it in the provided box or a soft pouch for protection.

Polish with a soft cloth to restore its glow.

Treat it like a treasure—it’s made to last.

Unclaimed or Returned Packages

If your package is unclaimed, refused, or returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address (e.g., only a first name provided, wrong street number), a flat fee will apply:

Germany: €5
International: €10

This fee helps cover the costs we incur when handling and processing returned packages.

To avoid this, please double-check your shipping details and make sure your package can be received. You can use the tracking link or Etsy app to follow your package and receive delivery updates. If you need assistance, drop us a message or email us at hello@o-milo.com.

My Earrings Broke, What Should I Do?

If your earrings break, please contact us via Etsy message or email at hello@o-milo.com with photos, videos, and a brief explanation of what happened. We’ll guide you through the next steps.

Our master artisan will carefully examine the earrings to determine if the damage is due to a manufacturing defect. As the makers, we can assess this thoroughly and reliably. If a defect is found, we’ll gladly replace the earrings free of charge.

For damage caused by improper handling, such as bending, accidental drops, or stepping on them, we can advise on repair or replacement options. Sterling silver and gold are softer materials, requiring gentle care to maintain their beauty—that’s why they’re called fine jewelry.

My Clasp Doesn’t Close, What Should I Do?

If your clasp isn’t closing, it may have shifted due to excess pressure applied. Our jewelry is made from sterling silver and gold, which are soft metals. This makes them lightweight and comfortable but requires careful handling.

You can often fix the issue by gently bending the locking arm back into place. If this doesn’t work, or you’d prefer not to adjust it yourself, you can send them back to us for inspection and adjustment. We’re here to help keep your jewelry in perfect condition.
