Thank you! One small note on 'plated': the gold on our pieces is 18k vermeil, a thick layer of real gold over sterling silver. Taking them off before showers and sleep will keep that finish looking its best for years.

Thank you for sharing this, and we're happy your ears are getting along with them. All our earrings are made from solid 925 sterling silver, which is nickel-free and hypoallergenic. The gold versions are finished with a thick layer of real 18K gold vermeil, with a palladium barrier layer between the silver and the gold. The silver versions carry a palladium and rhodium finish, so they stay bright. All of these are precious metals, and they are known to be very skin-friendly, which is why sensitive ears usually do well with them. Enjoy wearing them!
I fell in love with the Evi earrings at first sight, I had to have them. That love continued when they arrived. The quality is fantastic and they look great on. I haven’t taken them off since.

The gold looked very washed
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, it's difficult to understand exactly what you mean by 'washed,' but perhaps some information about the material will help clarify. Our earrings are finished in genuine 18K gold vermeil over sterling silver. This is real 18K gold, not a gold-coloured coating formulated to achieve the very saturated yellow often seen in fashion jewelry. Its appearance can also vary considerably depending on the light, from a softer champagne gold to a warmer, richer tone. If the colour looks different from what you expected, please feel free to send us a photo so we can take a look. And of course, if it simply isn’t the earrings you were looking for, you’re welcome to return them unworn (trying on is absolutely fine) within our 30-day return period.
